We cordially invite you to attend the 9th International Workshop on Plant Peptides and Receptors.
Despite the pandemic, the 8th International Workshop held in Lausanne last September was a big success and an exciting meeting to discuss science in person during these difficult times. This year, the meeting will take place at the Vielberth Building at the University of Regensburg in the South-East of Germany. The meeting will again take place in presence from September 8-10, 2021. To make it a safe meeting, we will provide - amongst other things - FFP2 and medical masks, quick tests before the meeting starts, and organize the whole meeting according to the hygiene guidelines of the university. Anyway, we hope that many of you will be vaccinated by September and that the infection numbers will strongly decrease during the summer period.
The conference is targeted at interested PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and principal investigators working on plant peptides, their membrane-bound and cytoplasmic receptors, their modifying enzymes and immediate downstream signaling events.
COSTS AND REGISTRATION
Registration is compulsory. We kindly ask all participants to book hotels separately (click here for ACCOMMODATION). We have suggested four hotels in the historical city center of Regensburg (but there are many more) and everybody is asked to book a hotel him/herself. Invited speakers will be accommodated at Hotel Arch. Registration costs will be kept low and cover all coffee breaks, meals and guided city tours. The exact amount will be announced soon.
Final registration deadline was June 30, 2021.
Due to the present hygiene guidelines, the number of participants is currently limited to 100 (depending on the development of the Corona situation in the next months we may be able to increase the number of participants). In case there are more applications, we will make a selection based on the research topic and distribute participation possibilities among labs. Please register through the online conference portal.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION is required for all participants. The abstract in English can be submitted exclusively through your personal account, which is created upon registration.
Deadline for Abstract submission was July 22, 2021.
Please, check on the updates regarding the PROGRAM of the workshop.
Looking forward to seeing you!
The Organization Team,
Thomas Dresselhaus, Stefanie Sprunck, Karina van der Linde (University of Regensburg), Ralph Hückelhoven, Stefanie Ranf, Kay Schneitz, Martin Stegmann (Technical University Munich)
